Request for Proposals: Website Development
Contact: Daniel Hopkins, Communications Director, dhopkins@mipeoples.org
Michigan United and Michigan People’s Campaign seek proposals from creative and forward-thinking individuals, organizations or firms for the development of a new website for each organization.
About Michigan United: Michigan United, 501(c)3 nonprofit, is a broad, statewide coalition working to reform our broken immigration system, protect our environment and end mass incarceration. We develop the leadership of our members to eradicate the root causes of racial and economic injustice.
About Michigan People’s Campaign: Michigan People’s Campaign, a 501(c)4 nonprofit, is a statewide organization that is building a movement to put people and the planet before profits, forge a more just and sustainable future, foster participatory democracy at every level, create an economy that works for the many and a society that dismantles racism while uplifting our common humanity.
Overview/Goals: In consultation with the key stakeholders at the organizations, the website developer(s) will produce a modern new design and backend for the www.miunited.org and www.mipeoples.org domains. The new websites should be easy to use and aesthetically attractive to volunteers, current members, prospective members, and potential donors, with backends that are easily updatable and accessible to staff members. They should compliment the organizations’ new logos, for which the organizations have issued a separate RFP.
