Immigration Reform

One of the most powerful tools in our work for change is elections. We work year-round to make sure that communities that have been left out of the political process, especially working-class communities and communities of color, are fully engaged and have good reasons to vote. We are also training the next generation of candidates and campaign managers from communities that are most impacted by injustice.

 

We also lobby the government and advocate for better laws and policies. We make sure that local community leaders are at the center of the conversation, rather than an afterthought.

 

We build the leadership of our members through powerful training. Training includes concrete skills, like canvassing or holding a press conference, political education, and more personal ideas, like overcoming self-doubt.
